French to English Bus/Financial Certificates, Diplomas, Licenses, CVs Academic transcript
This is in the subject titles column in a science degree transcript.

A very low amount of marks/credits were awarded for this. Something to do with being a citizen? Receiving credits? I am confused and can't find anything on this with regard to this degree course.

SafeTex; yes, you're right. The nitty-gritty is much more narrow (about being a student rep), but the French doesn't actually say that.
Presumably Lara knows what university it's about, and that's actually the key. context.

Hi all. I believe the nuance here is "élus étudiants". Elected students. It is not just anyone and clearly it is not linked to sports/academic achievements. They help organize elections, do student-advocacy actions and sometimes help as links with the college/university administration/administrative instances.

@Conor, Abdel and all If someone puts this suggestion up, why not "university life"; I think academic life is a tad too "intellectual", as I've understood that it could be a sporting achievement or something that is not academic in the strictest sense.
We agree on bonus, and that's a good start.

I believe they're additional points of credit which are allocated from something in an urban community setting, not only inside the university, as the supplementary points or credits can be awarded from a competition such as a sport event, or perhaps even an additional payment for extra work carried out.

I understand credits are given for an active participation in academic life, here they talk about elected student representatives and this figure is recognized in several universities.

civic bonus

I could not come up with anything that I liked using the word "citizen" or "citizenship" as that implies you get the bonus for simply being a citizen. Its more "civic duties" in English IMHO so this is my attempt
