Hello,
I am helping someone (British) to pronounce a small text written in Spanish. The guests are from Spain and he would like to say the following in Spanish to them:
Buenos días señoras y señores. Es un placer volver a dar la bienvenida a todos ustedes. Espero que hayan disfrutado de la cena de anoche.
Here is what I have done (in phonetics):
Bwe-nos dee-as sen-yores ee sen-yoras. Es oon pla-ther bol-ber a dar la byen-be-needoa a to-dos oo-stedes. Es-pehro ke ahyah dees-fru-ta-doo de la the-na de a-no-che.
I would appreciate it if an English person can tell me if my phonetic phrases are ok or any suggestions. Many thanks for your helps.

I think "byen-be-needoa" should just be " byen-be-need-a".
Perhaps oo-steades should be "oo-sted-ez".
Es-pehro = "es-spare-o".
I think the double "o" on "dees-fru-ta-doo" may be confusing - he will pronounce it as "too".

: and maybe 'toe' instead of 'to' for todos and just the letter 'k' for que (otherwise it will probably be pronounced as 'key')

Obviously not enough time to teach them a phonetics table, so here are some suggestions. In the "target term" line suggestions are separated. Final sentence in full below.

P.S. Wouldn't señoras y señores sound better than -es/-as?

Okay. This is my attempt. Of course these things are going to yield a very strong accent. And my rendering is based on the vowels in my Philadelphia (USA) accent, so I'm not sure how well they will work out in your British friend's accent. But I would say that the biggest improvement I have made is to change the d to dh. (Tell them it is pronounced like the th in "then," not "thing.") The only English d is the initial one of "disfrutado" because it follows an n.
The best thing would be to pronounce this for your friend and have him/her use your "phonetics" only as a memory aide.

After looking at the other answers, I realize that the vowels in my answer are way off for a British speaker, but I still think that dh is a good point, because using an English d is the mark of a bad accent in Spanish.
