Arabic term

dharur

Arabic to English Law/Patents Religion Divorce
This is a very badly romanised Arabic word in a divorce statement. It's either dharur or dharar and has something to do with abuse or violence (towards the wife).

Discussion

Alaa Zeineldine May 30, 2004:
Thanks for the explanation.
Non-ProZ.com May 30, 2004:
The text is in Malay, and the Malay text has borrowed several Arabic words and has romanised it.
Alaa Zeineldine May 30, 2004:
Can you post the part of the text in which the word is used. If you cannot post it in Arabic, badly Romanized will do. Will deromanize for food:)
