Source text - English Women are more backward in every respect in our society comparatively than men. Women's education is an instrument for liberation not only of women, but of the Indian society as a whole. During the last three decades, planning of the socially, educationally and economically disadvantaged groups has open accelerated in India.
The lack of education is the main cause for which women are the sufferer, more than men. The lack of education means the lack of self-reliance, self-confidence for which women are not able to come out of their problems. So, educating a woman means educating a family.
Studies have revealed that "Women, carry two-thirds of the total workload in the country and receive not more than 10 % of the total wages, out of which they probably do not get even 1% for their own use. An important reason for the low participation of girls in education among the disadvantaged sections of the population is that girls from a very early age begin to take care of their younger siblings and to house-hold work to relieve their parents to go out for work. Thus, such girls indirectly generate income.
This study will humbly try to bring out the problems being faced by Muslim women related to education and its impact on their development. This can help in improving their educational level and hence social status.
Specifically, the Study has analyzed the present literacy and educational status of Muslim Girls and Women in India, the social, cultural and educational factors and forces hindering their educational participation against the backdrop of existing Policies, Programs and Schemes to promote education of Girls and Women in general and those belonging to educationally backward minorities and other socially and economically disadvantaged sections of our society.
Translation - Urdu مردوں کے مقابلے میں خواتین ہمارے معاشرہ کے ہر گوشے میں نسبتا زیادہ پسماندہ ہیں. خواتین کی تعلیم نہ صرف عورتوں بلکہ مجموعی طور پر پورے ہندوستان کی آزادی کا ایک ذریعہ ہے. گزشتہ تین دہائیوں کے دوران، سماجی، تعلیمی اور اقتصادی طور پسماندہ طبقوں کی منصوبہ بندی ہندوستان میں تیز ہو گئی ہے.
تعلیم کا فقدان ایک اہم سبب ہے جس کی وجہ سے مردوں کے مقابلہ میں خواتین زیادہ پریشانی کا شکار ہیں. تعلیم کے فقدان کا مطلب خود انحصاری اور خود اعتمادی کی کمی ہے جس کی وجہ سے خواتین اپنی پریشانیوں کے لئے خود باہر نہیں آسکتیں. اسی لئے خواتین کی تعلیم کا مطلب ہے خاندان کی تعلیم.
مطالعہ سے پتہ چلتا ہے کہ ہندوستان میں دو تہائی کام کا بوجھ خواتین اٹھاتی ہیں اور کل اجرتوں میں ١٠ فیصد سے زیادہ وصول نہں کرتیں جس میں سے غالباً اپنے استعمال کے لئے وہ ١ فیصد بھی نہیں پاتیں. آبادی کے پسماندہ طبقوں میں تعلیمی میدان میں لڑکیوں کی کم شرکت کا ایک اہم سبب یہ ہے کہ لڑکیاں انتہائی ابتدائی عمر سے ہی اپنے چھوٹے بھائی بہنوں کا خیال رکھنا اور کام کے لئے باہر جانے والے اپنے والدین کو مدد کرنے اور تسلی دینے کے لئے گھر کے کام کاج شروع کر دیتی ہیں. اس طرح، اس قسم کی لڑکیاں بلاواسطہ آمدنی کماتی ہیں.
یہ مطالعہ عاجزانہ طریقہ سے تعلیم سے متعلق مسلم خواتین کو در پیش آنے والی پریشانیوں اور ان کی نشونما پر اس کے اثرات کو بروے کار لانے کی کوشش کریگا. یہ ان کے تعلیمی میعار اور اس کے نتیجہ میں پیدا ہونے والی سماجی حثیت کو کو بہتر بنانے میں معاون ہو سکتا ہے.
خصوصاً اس مطالعہ نے ہندوستان میں خواتین اور لڑکیوں کی موجودہ خواندگی اور تعلیمی حیثیت، سماجی، ثقافتی اور تعلیمی عوامل اور موجودہ حکمت عملی کے خلاف تعلیمی شراکیت میں رکاوٹ ڈالنے والی طاقتیں، یکساں طور پر خواتین اور لڑکیوں کی تعلیم کو فروغ دینے والے پروگرام اور منصوبہ بندی اور تعلیمی طور پر پسماندہ اقلیتوں اور ہمارے معاشرہ کے دوسرے سماجی اور اقتصادی بسمندہ طبقوں کا تجزیہ کیا ہے.
