Originally from Reno, Nevada, I graduated from Columbia University in the City of New York with a degree in philosophy and a background in German. After working in New York City as an evaluator of foreign academic credentials, I moved to Israel. There I have happily resided for the last sixteen years. In Israel I studied in "yeshiva" (a Jewish seminary). Because of eye-strain difficulties, I descended from the ethereal to the mucky, and began working as a plumber and jack-of-some-trades.
Of late, various friends and acquaintances have begun hiring me for professional translation projects in the fields of science and business. Additionally, for the last four years I have been involved in translating texts by Rabbi Nachman of Breslov from Yiddish and Hebrew into English. After success in these endeavors, I have decided to return to the realm of letters.
I look forward to hearing from you!
