中国电信经常蒙人，告诉你说上行速度有128K，到头来可能只有十几K。这还是ADSL的速度，而我的是LAN，理论上应有10G！
如果是我这边的问题，那可以找别人代劳。但如果是对方的问题，那就没辙了。对方的服务器在丹麦。

It was a wonderful idea! I was excited to give a try to this Chinese localization software program. The bad news is that I downloaded it and installed it to my PC that uses English Windows XP and Illustrator 9.0. What I got was a partial localization in the Illustrator, and there were many question marks in the places where the Chinese text should be, and I still could not type Chinese Characters in the Illustrator. At the end, I had to uninstall the old Illustrator and install a fresh copy.
I want to let those who want to give a try to this software program to think twice before you do it. It did not work with my PC.

我做Edit。但由于没有PDF文件，中文CDR碰到穿靴戴帽的或希腊字母这些，就变成一个个方格。所以还是让他们做DTP。

An emulation utility released by Microsoft,and is available free on their website. Works fine with Simplified〈〉Traditional. I guess it should also work with English>Chinese.

对你遇到的麻烦深表歉意。使用汉化包有时会有问题。我用Illustrator 10简体包，但有几种繁体字（台湾公司开发的字体，例如汉仪字体）不能正常显示，其它字体没有问题。简体包对繁体的支持有限。在其他软件上用汉化包时，我也遇到过不能汉化的问题，但不影响软件的正常使用。
汉化包毕竟是“好事之徒”业余开发的，有不尽人意之处是可以理解的。另外，一种软件常常有不同版本的汉化包，应该能搜索到一种可以正常工作的汉化包。

非常感谢！ http://www.quark.com/products/xpress/international.html[/quote][/quote] Hi Chance: 英文版QuarkXpress 5.0支持中文：可以导入文本，也可以从Word等上面复制过去。但直接输入文本时有点麻烦，你得先选择一种中文字体才行，实在有些土气。给客户提供文本文件就可以了。 QuarkXpress 5.0在PC和MAC之间可以实现共享：可用PC版打开用MAC排好的文件，但我发现个别元素（孤立文本）会丢失，例如竖排文本。最好事先向客户索要PDF文件作参考。 QuarkXpress生成PDF文件很麻烦：先导出eps文件，再把eps文件转换成PDF。 祝各位新春快乐！ Shang | | | |
