"Bluenose", which in Scotland means a Rangers supporter (a term directed at fans of Glasgow Rangers FC by fans of Glasgow Celtic) In England, the term is also apparently used for supporters of football cubs Aston Villa and Birmingham City.

... "bluenose" which is also often used for supporter's of Everton football club.... hhhmmm... seems the term is somewhat overused in the football world!
