Work Style
- Analyze and categorize String (Source
Language) in accordance with properties of strings (Usually categorized as
dialogue, item, UI, skill, other text and original contents of game) to ensure
consistency and contextual accuracy.
- Collect interior/exterior materials for
games translations, and request client for World/Character/Story document, cheat
code or build for proofreading. And collect data from press kit,
interview, homepage, guide and many sources.
- Create data about terminology, way of
speaking (between character and common people, between character and specific
people, monologue and so on).
- Use CAT or various spreadsheet function to improve efficiency. If they were represented on spreadsheet, you can check progress & milestone at any time.
- Request Query and make questions about product for developers or translation staff.
