I have a Master’s degree in Translation Studies and Interpreting (language combinations: English and French > Slovak) and 4 + years of experience in translation of texts in the fields of economy, marketing or biology as an in-house employee as well as a freelance translator. I have experience in literary translation ( 2 published book translations, both in the genre of literary reportage, EN>SK), subtitling, and post-editing as well.

Currently, I work part-time for a sporting goods company in Slovakia, where I am responsible for the localization process - product descriptions, tools, applications - and translation of internal materials (FR>SK).

Last year, I did a traineeship at the Slovak Translation Unit of the European Parliament in Luxembourg, where I also completed my own terminology project in the domain of Women's rights and Audiovisual.
