English to Thai: Micro-scale Preconcentrators for Vapor-Phase Air Contaminants: Optimizing the Design and Operating Conditions for Integration with Micro-scale Gas Chromatographic Instrumentation General field: Science Detailed field: Science (general)
Source text - English The broad goal of this research was to improve the performance of vapor preconcentrator devices used to capture, focus, and thermally inject analytes in gas chromatography for the determination of toxic vapors encountered in workplace or residential environments.
Preconcentrator with different sized cavities and packed with ~ 1-2.4 mg of adsorbent material, Carbopack X,were challenged with low concentration of butanone, benzene, heptane and toluene over a range of flow rates.
The breakthrough time,tb, decreased with decreasing adsorbent bed mass and increasing flow rates for all vapors, as described by the modified Wheeler model.
I've earned a Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) from Chiangmai
University, Thailand in 2004. I've worked as a Pharmacist for 2 years before I've received a scholarship from the Royal Thai government to pursue my master and Ph.D. study in Occupational/Environmental Health Sciences field in the United States of America. I have received a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2008, and just received a Ph.D. in Environmental Health
Sciences from the same University in December 2012. My research interests concern the design and characterization of miniaturized and microfabricated vapor preconcentrator
devices used to capture, focus, and thermally inject analytes in microfabricated gas
chromatographic analyzers for the determination of toxic vapors encountered in
workplace or residential environments.
I'm working as a pharmacist and also teaching Environmental Health Sciences and Occupational Health subjects at Sirindhorn College of Public Health, Phitsanulok, Thailand.
