Apantree graduated with a bachelor’s degree of Arts from Khon Kaen University in Thailand in 1990, and a Master Degree in International Banking and Finance from the University of Birmingham, UK in 2000. She is currently pursuing an Advanced Paralegal Certificate at a local college and is expected at her own pace. She is a judicial registered interpreter with Washington State Administrative of Office of the Courts (AOC), a state agency operates under the direction of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. She is also a medical and social services interpreter, authorized by the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services.
Her services provided as an interpreter and translator to Lao and Thai communities since 2001 enable her to develop professional career as well as open opportunities for new and exciting assignments. Her experience includes interpreting for civil, criminal and administrative court proceedings. She is also experienced in out-of-court proceedings such as deposition, mediation, and arbitration. In addition, she also provides interpreting services for local and federal law enforcement/investigative agencies and private company conferences.
From time to time, Apantree volunteers as a medical interpreter for Seattle/King County Clinic events. She is an avid reader and a hiker. Being a part of bountiful natural attractions in the Pacific Northwest, she has found her passion in hiking with her hiking buddies in late spring to falls.
