Yesterday a group of translators and I updated memoQ to version 7.8.122. We are now seeing errors (or warnings) on each and every character: Error 02006, multiple entities defined for character "x". Each segment has one error per character.

The file are good - they have been reviewed and looked fine yesterday, but today with the new version we have one error per character.

I sent email to Kilgray support, and will update this if I hear back from them with a solution.

One more detail... Mar 9, 2016

This problem only happens after running QA. When I open any file in any project, only the expected errors are reported. However, when I run QA, each segment now reports these errors for each character.

Hi everybody Apr 9, 2016

Any news on fixing this error? It makes QA virtually useless...

Still waiting - workarounds Apr 9, 2016

Last i heard from Kilgray was March 16. At that time they had started testing a new version containing the fix. I am surprised that the new version has not been released yet, but keep watching for updates.

Workaround Apr 11, 2016

New info from Kilgray:
there is a workaround, turn off the option "Warn for Unicode characters with more than one defined entity" in the QA under the Inline tags tab.
