Discussion

Moushira El-Mogy Oct 7, 2004:
I have no problem with disagreements. Every one must say his own opinion. This is the way to "learn" or correct mistakes and be more precise.
Thank you all

About the points, just 2 days ago when question was posted twice I got the same answer as Nesrin but she arrived first on the other same posted question I posted a link to her answer in case it will be selected. this is called fairness.
Moushira El-Mogy Oct 7, 2004:
My ansewr was based on "Aswan" dam giving the impression it is an Egypt related dam. The high dam is called also in some context.
Randa Farhat Oct 6, 2004:
sorry but is not , these are in two different countries!

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thanks Moushira, I guess the dam must be pretty high indeed, although in some contexts it may be just great... Who knows? Thanks."

There's not a lot left, but you can still see the remnants of the Great Dam of Ma'rib, and if you walk a few miles upstream you'll reach the imaginatively titled New Dam of Ma'rib, more than twice as high as the old one.

The Great Dam also collapsed and the Sheba Dynasty dispersed to the hills.
