: You're in the right ballpark, but "top of mind"is an adjective and we're looking for a noun.

Another example showing that sporran's contention is wrong.
As we can see above, "presence à l'esprit" means a certain awareness of the brand, or a strong awareness, but, in any case, different degrees of awareness.
It certainly does not only necessarily means the very first brand that is thought of by an individual.

In the discussion area, I've added more examples showing why sporran and Clarissa are wrong in their contention that "presence à l'ésprit" must necessarily mean the first thought-of brand only.
"Présence à l'esprit" includes top brands, and depending on the context, the number of brands that people are most aware of will vary.
It makes no sense to say that if you think first of Orange and second of SFR, that SFR has no "présence à l'esprit."

How would you explain what "presence à l'esprit" is? Use the discussion area, if you would like to discuss the issue, because it's not possible to do so here.

As was discussed in the discussion area, your contention that "presence à l'esprit" can only apply to the first thought-of brand is simply wrong. It's too bad that you are commenting here without knowing what the French even means.

You can't augmenter something that is "top of mind."
It's not complicated.
Lien à la marque : Quelle est la présence à l’esprit de votre marque lorsque l’on rappelle la publicité ? Est-elle correctement attribuée à votre marque ?

Just another example that your contention that "pr à l'esp" must mean "top of mind" is wrong.

And this: Définition de : « Notoriété »
