Marco, sarebbe stato sufficiente mettere le virgolette e tutto sarebbe stato più semplice perché immediatamente uno comincia a immaginare qualche stranezza, ma senza le virgolette diventa arduo centrare il bersaglio. Ho avuto un'illuminazione si vede! :))

Le espressioni idiomatiche sono sempre un agguato e di conseguenza una qualsiasi frase un pochino strana la si interpreta come tale, io per primo impazzisco certe volte, e poi scopro che chi ha scritto si è semplicemente dimenticato di mettere la punteggiatura adeguata che avrebbe salvato tanti grattacapi.:)

Serve contesto! Per quel che ne sappiamo, potrebbe riferirsi a una via completamente ristrutturata o riportata alla vita, dunque un luogo simbolico per gli ottimisti... o magari si tratta di turisti che vogliono comprare casa lì e hanno buone prospettive!

Ora: lo sguardo può essere invidioso (e pure un po' bramoso) se su quella strada girano modelle e/o modelli, oppure bramoso (voluttuoso, tipo che sbavi sulle vetrine) se è una strada dello shopping. In entrambi i casi, trattandosi di una tradu turistica, la definizione sarebbe poco lusinghiera per chi legge, da dove la mia proposta.
p.s.: ho trovato anche una-definizione-una di "green eyes" come "sguardo positivo", ma non vedo il nesso...
