Presence
"valence
noun.
...
3. the capacity of one person or thing to react with or affect another in some special way, as by attraction or the facilitation of a function or activity."
Despite the literal translation found in dictionaries, I still think "presence" is the best word for the context. I think that in English, the usage of "valence" may be slightly more refined.
