Il peso e la lunghezza alla nascita
Alla nascita viene definito normale un peso compreso tra i 2500 e i 4500 grammi. In media il peso nascita è di circa 3300 grammi, con qualche differenza tra maschi e femmine (i maschi pesano circa 150 grammi in più), mentre non ci sono particolari differenze per quanto riguarda la lunghezza, pari mediamente a 50 centimetri.
