Hi everyone,

I know وحشة usually means beast-like, but in this case does it mean lonely? This is from an Iraqi text where the narrator is having to talk about having to leave her home behind (due to war).

تخيلت شكل الذي لم تجد الوقت الكافي لترتيبه، فكرت: أي
السريرين سيكون أكثر وحشة في غيابنا

So which bed would be more lonely? Or more messy?
