English term

biddings vs tender

English to German Marketing Economics Economy

Vielen Dank

agree Camilla Seifert : This makes good sense. Bidding as in offer/Angebot and naturally Ausschreibung/Tender.

thanks Camilla :)
agree David Moore (X) : 'Bidding*S*' makes it look like a non-ENS text, doesn't it...

it does indeed and thanks David :)
neutral Björn Vrooman : "tender" not (!) "Ausschreibung": "Ausschreibung" is request for tenders. Both terms can be used interchangeably: One seems prevalent in the UK, the other in the US. // +activities: yes. Comment not directed at you :) But there are mistranslations.

I think it's OK to go with "tenders" in this context but you have a good point and thanks for the comment Björn :)
agree Kirstin V : https://www.kcl.ac.uk/innovation/business/academics/how/publ... Seite 2 :) Vielleicht hilft es.

Angebotsanfragen vs. Ausschreibung

also kein wesentlicher Unterschied.
"Call for bids" oder "Call for tender" bedeuten Angebotsanfrage, Ausschreibung, ev. öffentliche Ausschreibung
