Az eredeti szórólapon ilyen hülyén van megfogalmazva a reklám:
"A hét minden napján,és vasárnap is kibővült választékkal,hatalmas kedvezményekkel,vevőbarát árakkal és hozzáértő szakemberekkel várja Önöket X.Y. Áruház ...".
Kérdés,szerintetek én is ilyen hülyén fordítsam angolra ,vagy vállaljam be a fordítói szabadság keretében azt,hogy hülyeséget nem írok le.
Másik kérdésem: milyen a nem hozzáértő szakember?A kettő nekem valahogy nem fér össze.Aki nem ért hozzá(bármihez) ,az ne nevezze magát szakembernek.
Szóval mi legyen a szórólapom sorsa?

Nonszensz, nem foglalkoznék vele. Lehet, hogy egy nyelvész el tudná magyarázni, hogy stilisztikai értéke van, még jobban kiemeli, hogy nagyon értenek a dolgukhoz, és egyértelművé teszi, hogy a Vasedényben nem kertészmérnökök, hanem vasedényes dolgokhoz értő szakemberek várnak. Legfeljebb ha a megrendelő nyafog, azt mondom, hogy jajj, nem vettem észre a szót, vagy hogy ettől nem változik a fordítás, angolul akkor is ugyanúgy van. :)

: Sunday in singular suggest this Sunday, not every Sunday. For this reason the suggested wording is not correct English.

General comment: these is not significant departure from the original. The original may not be phrased very well but it is by no means ambiguous, or any worse that common English marketing leaflats. It is well witin the vernacular.

: Felesleges a hülyeséget átültetni. Idétlen, de legalább nem logikai bukta: "Open seven days a week, yes, even on Sundays." Másként rettentő ostobán hangzik.

Redundancia nem hülyeség, mint ahogy a te megjegyzésed sem az. Ha ismernéd az angol nyelvszokást, tudnád, hogy amit irtam, megszokott nyelvi fordulat.

: It should be: "Open seven days a week, including Sunday" (i.e. Sunday in its singular form). To me, this doesn't sound silly at all. It's just an example of marketing catering to the lowest common denominator, assuming its target customers are simpletons
