Japanese to English Tech/Engineering Computers: Software

This comes up a few times in a document describing a computer program being developed. I have seen it on the web translated as "descriptiveness", but that doesn't sound like "real English" to me.

In one usage, they have built a prototype, and are testing it in a simple test case in order to 記述性について評価を行う。
