Dolina = (Car.) microdepresiune in forma de palnie, rezultata prin dizolvarea de catre ape a rocilor solubile.
Dolina = (Geog.) forma de relief negativa, cu infatisare elipsoidala, circulara, uneori sinuoasa, care a luat nastere pe calcare prin actiunea combinata a proceselor de disolutie, sufoziune, tasare, eroziune.
