I am an English to Spanish freelance translator and native Spanish speaker. I am originally from the Dominican Republic and I have been living in the U.S. for the last 18 years. I have a strong command of both the English and the Spanish language. I have a passion for translation and I enjoy reading and writing in English and Spanish.

I have a thorough knowledge of Latin American idioms and slang. I acquired this knowledge through personal interactions with people from several countries of Latin America, whom I met during my trips overseas (traveling is my other passion) and through my work as a social researcher, which allowed me to interact with people from North, Central and South America.
