Bio

My name is Anna Argyropoulou and work as a freelance translator from English to Greek and vice versa. I also do editing and proofereading, and subtitling. I hold a certification in all of them. MTPE is another area of translation I have experience in. 

My educational background include a BA in English Language and Literature, an MA in Teaching English to students of other Languages and my most recent acquisition is a certification in a Translation Training Programme.

With more than 20 years in English language teaching, I decided it was time for change. I became a freelance translator only recently, in 2022. However, I have managed many things in such short time span. I have established several solid collaborations, which I have kept up until today. I have also done work with individual clients who have trusted me with their projects.

My areas of expertise include: general, marketing, financial, commercial, cosmetics, tourism/travel, humanities, media, educational, arts, websites.
