2. Support for CJK(two bytes characters) problem
When I use "Ctrl+k" to search in the Memory and livedoc in the target language(my target language is Chinese", if the search item includes English words, i get no result or unrelated result.
For example if I search "CCDD" , the search result will be a Chinese character.

3. cursor problem
When I want to insert a word in the translation, I use mouse to put the cursor at the suitable place, but when I type, I found that the typed word is at another place.
For example , this sentence " I want to try MemoQ", when I put the cursor before "try" and want to type "re" , then I type , the cursor automatically before "want" so when I try to type" I want to retry MemoQ" , the result is "I rewant to try MemoQ". It happened many many times.
I use Chinese input method, maybe this bug is related to my "input method". ▲ Collapse | | | Chunyi Chen Estatu Batuak Local time: 23:41 Ingelesatik Txinerara Email Kilgray support with your questions | Dec 13, 2011 |
Hi Jing Nie,
As far as I know, they have an engineer that has extensive knowledge with Asian languages, so you may get your questions better answered by them. They would still answer your questions even if you are just trying out their product.

I did notice that the cursor position shift problem when I started using MemoQ, but now it seems to be gone, so I don't know what happened.
As for the concordance question, I thought the right way to perform a concordance search would be to highlight the source text and get the target translation results.
And Ctrl+K has always worked for me.
For me, MemoQ works much better than the other CAT tools I used in the past. I was skeptical about it at first, but now I find it very useful and like it a lot.
Good luck!

Hi Chun-yi,
Many Thanks for your prompt reply. I will follow your suggestion. By the way, MemoQ also support target language searching using "Ctrl+K". And I would suggest you to add Monoligual Livedoc when translation, it is really useful for big projects. | | | Chunyi Chen Estatu Batuak Local time: 23:41 Ingelesatik Txinerara Thanks for the tip | Dec 13, 2011 |
