Hi colleagues
I don't want to squander my Support requests on this question unless I have to. Maybe someone has experienced this before.
My client's memoq server is having issues and so I'm stuck in the middle of a project that I'd like to continue working on. I don't need the online TMs and termbases, so I unchecked those, which allowed me to work with local tms for a while, but now I'm stuck. Any other local document is fine, so there appears to be nothing wrong with my version of MemoQ.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance. ▲ Collapse | | | Are documents online as well? | Dec 14, 2011 |
Were you working on an online document, i.e. you did not have a local copy of the document?
If that is the case, I think you cannot do much about this. If you have a local copy of the document in memoQ, you can of course create a temporary memory, store your segments there for the time being, and when the online memory is available again activate it as primary memory and confirm the segments again so that they get stored online.

Thanks for your super-fast reply.
The project contains 4 documents, of which the largest one is uneditable now. The other three, I just found out, I can still work on, so I assume that the documents are not locally stored anywhere, or only partly. The document I get "stuck" on opens and closes normally, but I cannot enter or delete a single letter in any segment anymore. It continues asking me whether it should synchronize, which of course it can't.
Anyway, for the moment I can continue on the other three documents, by using a local TM. | | | To report site rules violations or get help, contact a site moderator: You can also contact site staff by submitting a support request » MemoQ server down - can I continue working locally?
