I recently received the below message from a person on Proz.com who has never worked for me in the past (and probably never will in the future either):

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think this is what the wwa feature is intended for.

I'm a new user and it doesn't really take that much to figure out when things seem fishy. Sadly, lots of scams surround us and you can never be too cautious. Better safe than sorry!

I agree that Proz Support should be advised.
