The error I got says: "Failed to save target content: An error occurred while converting the document back to Microsoft format: Position of fields is/are changed across the paragraph or filed insertion is repeated." I saved the source file again as a Rich Text Format file and ran it on Studio but got the same result and cannot save the document into the target language. Please if anyone knows how to solve the problem, kindly advise me. It's really very urgent. Many thanks, Noha ▲ Collapse | | |

Hi Paul, Thank you so much for your kind help. I've pressed F8 to verify the file but received the message: "Verification complete no errors reported". I finally saved the source file as a Word Document 2010 and didn't merge any strings and ran it and finally I was able to get my target document. Thank you so much. | | | Sanja Ditko Croatia Local time: 07:53 German to Croatian + ... Urgent! Can not save bilingual work in Trados 2009 | Jul 18, 2012 |

Hi Sanja, Carvallo, With the file open in the Editor View press F8 to run a QA check. This may identify potential problems that you can resolve. Generally information messages won't prevent the file from being saved, but errors can do. If this doesn't help if you send the fully translated sdlxliff and the original source file to me we can take a look and see if we can find the problem. Regards ... Thank you Paul for you answer, I even tried this before I was able to resolve the problem myself. I guess it was my mistake, do not know. I recieved the document in a zip file and opened it from there and started to work, tried to save it, but could not. The problem was that I have worked in the document I opened from the zip file. After I have extracted all the documents from this zip file, I just needed to open my file again from there and saving it was normal. ... So if you get you file for translation in a zip you need to extract the files from there (just klick right on the mouse and there is a possobility to "extract to" and open your file from this new created file. ▲ Collapse | | | To report site rules violations or get help, contact a site moderator: You can also contact site staff by submitting a support request » Cannot Save SDLX LIFF File into Target Language in Studio 2009 Wordfast Pro | Translation Memory Software for Any Platform
