No, not any more, as I’m past retirement age. Otherwise, I would definitely consider it. I worked for 20 years as staff translator at an EU institution. Loved it and learn a lot! | | | | Christine Andersen Danimarka Local time: 10:32 Bazkidea (2003) Danieratik Ingelesara + ... | Definitely, depending on the role | Aug 2 |
If I had been offered a role in an international organisation when I was young enough to do it justice, I would have been delighted.

Back in my younger days I would have definitely accepted the role, provided it was something interesting or even unique. But nowadays, that the wild life is over, I prefer my usual comfortable environment.

I'm not young any more but I would still cherish a new experience. It's not forever anyway even though it would be an upheaval.
I've always been interested in language-related roles within international organisations.
Regardless of my age, I would gladly embrace such an opportunity.
Given my interest in legal translation and criminal investigations, I would be especially interested in a role supporting international law enforcement or police cooperation. | | | | To report site rules violations or get help, contact a site moderator: You can also contact site staff by submitting a support request » Poll: Would you consider a language-related role at an international org such as NATO, the UN, etc? | CafeTran Espresso | You've never met a CAT tool this clever!
