● About Us And Our Client
○ We are a professional translation service provider and translator outsourcing provider founded in 2009 in China, having over 600 employees located in 20 branches worldwide. Our official website: [HIDDEN]
○ As a leading global game platform, our client has entrusted us to search for Video Game Localizers from the source language (English or Chinese) to various target languages (i.e., Burmese, Indonesian, Malay, Japanese, and German).

● Key Responsibilities
○ As per Game Product Managers’ requirements and work assignments, help video games complete localization from the source Language to the target Language, using Weloc, X-bench, Crowdin, Trados, and other required tools.
○ The various work tasks include but are not limited to translation, proofreading, editing, image/video inspection, testing games, Translation Quality Evaluation (TQE), Language Quality Assurance (LQA), and continuous game optimization according to the habits and preferences of users whose are the native speakers of the target language.

● Qualifications
1.Must be a native speaker of the target language.
2.Must have worked for game localization before and be proficient in translation and proofreading.
3.Work efficiently and punctually with high quality.
4.The Source Language is fluent enough to collaborate with our client’s team.
5.Rich experiences in LQA, user-oriented game localization experience and an avid game player are a huge plus.

● Work Setting & Scheduling
○ You are hired by us to work for our client. Our client takes the duty to evaluate your test and interview you, determining work assignments and whether to continue/stop your contract or an incremental/reduced salary.
○ It is REMOTE. You need to work around our client’s team schedule, namely between about 9 AM and 9 PM (China Standard Time). You can choose to work part-time or full-time. Full-time: 5 workdays per week, 8 work hours per workday. Part-time: you decide your available and fixed slots each workday.

● Income
○ The remunerations for remote and global peers differ significantly. The monthly salary of a highly experienced professional and rare language expert for our client can reach up to $3000 (approximately $17/hour). Some excellent language experts who have cooperated with our client for a long time can earn more than $3000.
○ NOW it is IMPOSSIBLE to decide or estimate your compensation because your (1) work time for our client, (2) work experience, (3) typewritten test result, and (4) interview evaluations impact the determination of your salary package or hourly rates profoundly.
○ Two settlement currencies are available: (1) RMB via Alipay and bank card, or (2) US dollars via Paypal (＜$500) or bank card (≥$500). The settlement is only made at the end of each month, and the relevant details can be viewed on our self-developed information management platform, regardless of full-time or part-time.
